Hythe & Dibden 0-2 Petersfield Town

An impressive performance rounded out a successful pre season campaign as Petersfield shrugged aside Hythe and Dibden.

Goals from Harrison Cable and Dan Wood finalised the two nill victory but it was the manner in which it was achieved that will please both Connor Hoare and Callum Glenn.

Cian Tells had a very impressive afternoon giving both full backs a nightmare. Getting on the end of a long ball he had his effort saved, and a second chance which he dragged wide.

On many occasions a high press was activated, with the Rams swarming the Hythe defenders. 37 minutes and they won back the ball near their area Cable was played in as he feinted the keeper and slotted in.

Liam Kimber hit the crossbar and the hosts hit the inside of the post with Ellis Grant pulling off a good reaction save to keep out the rebound.
